Gilbert J. Laurent is a personal injury attorney with over 7 years of experience in the field and was born and raised in Delray Beach, Florida. He was born and raised in a small town in the Midwest and was the first person in his family to attend college.

After completing his undergraduate degree in Political Science with a minor in Biology, and later attended Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Law.
